About our company

Our farms, packing facility and harvest crews are food safety certified.

Food safety is a daily priority at our farms and packing facility. We are annually certified by internationally recognized leader in food safety, PrimusGFS, and the USDA Harmonized audit. When you buy from us, you can feel confident that you are getting local, fresh and wholesome produce AND that your tomatoes were harvested fairly. Our farms are members of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers Fair Food Program. The program is “a unique partnership among farmers, farmworkers, and retail food companies that ensures humane wages and working conditions for the workers who pick fruits and vegetables on participating farms.” Through participation, our farms demonstrate our commitment to social responsibility.

Our Roots

Tobacco farming in North Carolina… sure it’s still the South, but doesn’t the sunshine in Florida sound good? In the mid 1950’s, our father, grandfather and founder, Roy L. Neill, left NC for the farms of sunny Homestead, FL. Homestead is the gateway to the Florida Keys… so why not stay there? An opportunity opened up in Fort Pierce (a few hours north), so Roy packed up the family and moved to the Treasure Coast. Farming in an area named after gold and diamonds… finally the perfect spot!
For more than 35 years, we have enjoyed our veggies and now it is time to share them with you. Through the years, our farming techniques have changed, but our commitment to quality has not.

Say “hello” to one of our favorite farmers (ok, we are biased):
